Friday, September 26, 7 pm. Film night. We are showing a compelling film about the life and career of the figurative painter, Alice Neel, directed by her grandson. Revealing interviews and beautiful footage of her paintings tell the difficult story of what it took for her to break through in the New York Art World. We will start the evening with two short films about Ariel Parkinson and Edith Park Truesdell, painters of the same era, who have work in our current show. David Reid hosts. Refreshments. $5 admission.
