Ariel: Theatrical Life January 16- February 21, 2015
Paintings, drawings, and sculpture by Ariel (Parkinson), spanning 50 years, taken from her award winning set and costume designs for opera, dance, and theater, including the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet, Berkeley Repertory Theater and California Shakespeare Company.

Saturday January 24, 3pm. Poetry Reading. Bill Mayer, reading from A Truce with Fantasy and Anita Barrows, reading from her soon to be published book, Exile. Refreshments. David Reid hosts. Free.
Saturday February 14, 2:30pm. Choral Concert. Berkeley based Medieval ensemble, Coro Ciconia, under the direction of Asher Davison, will perform a short set of sacred and secular music. Refreshments. $5 at the door.
Friday February 20, 6:30- 7:45. Film Screening of the short opera (30 minutes), L'enfant et Les Sortileges, Berkeley Opera, 2008, set and costume design by Ariel in collaboration with Projection Designer, Jeremy Knight. Film stills from another Ariel/Jeremy Knight production, Macbeth, will also be shown. Jeremy will give a short intro to the films and the process. Refreshments. $5 at the door.
