Wednesday December 9, 7pm: Film Night: Short stop-motion animations by Lisa Esherick with some by fellow artist/animator, John Reily, and a selection of animated shorts by South African artist, William Kentridge. Refreshments. Free.
Wednesday December 16, 7pm: The Life and Art of Vincent Van Gogh: Lecture and Slide Presentation by Artist and Van Gogh scholar, Marlene Aron, who will give a fascinating talk with over 100 slides (many images rarely seen) on this iconic painter, who created over 2000 works of art in his last 10 years of life. A revealing, intimate look into the life of a complex man. Refreshments. $10-20 sliding scale.
Friday December 18, 7pm: Poetry Reading. Bay Area poets, Steve Rood, Larry Felson, and Michael Jones will read from their selected works. Refreshments. Free.
