 On Friday, April 24 at 7pm we will be showing the documentary film, The Desert of Forbidden Art , the story of the one man attempt of Igor Satvitsky to rescue 40,000 works of politically forbidden art and the creation of a museum in the desert of Soviet Uzbekistan. Directed by Tchavdar Georgiev and Amanda Pope. Refreshments. $5 at the door.

A Group Show of Russian Painters. past and present, transcending the political divide. 
Ariel Theatrical Life has been extended for one week though February 21. A film screening of the short opera, L'enfant et Les Sortileges, Berkeley Opera, 2008, set and costume designs by Ariel, in collaboration with projection designer, Jeremy Knight, will be shown on Friday February 20 at 6:30pm. Jeremy will introduce the film and give a short talk.
